I work in retail and a display of this replaced the Max Factor one, and it looks pretty and lots of bold colors (good for my skintone). Anyone try this stuff yet? I normally wear L'Oreal or Physicians Formula stuff and how does it compare?

I can't comment on L'Oreal since I don't usually use that brand, but I have used PF. I've tried some of Hard Candy's products and I like 'em.

I love their baked blush and waterproof eyeliner. That sucker really stays on.
Hard Candy has been around before, and they use to be sold in Sephora (not sure if they still do) but the company was sold and revamped. So now it's exclusively sold at Wal-Mart.

It's suppose to be the sister brand to Urban Decay (the package kinda gives it away), which I love.

When I first saw the display at Wal-Mart, I was like "Why is Urban Dec- Hard Candy? Interesting..."

Then I saw that they had sparkly mascaras. So I gave it a shot. I currently have their black, purple, green, blue and sparkle blue mascaras.

I had a bunch of nailpolishes and lip gloss stuff before they were bought out. I don't know if the new line is the same so I can't comment on that but I did like the old stuff. I really liked the light and natural way the glosses looked. colorful enough, but not hookery..lol

Oh rita..you HAVE to go to NYX's makeup website if you love color, glitter and bargins.

Rita - how do you like the mascaras?

I second pitt's suggestion. I have four NYX eye shadows (and would have many more if the store that carries NYX wasn't an hour away). I LOVE them. They're "cheap", but, surprisingly, incredibly pigmented and have nice staying power.

I was in Walmart today, and didn't see a display, but I went for specific items. I have to go back this week, so I'll look for it again.

My only problem with the mascara is that it takes a little longer to dry than the stuff I usually use. Which, I found this out... shortly after putting my glasses on and seeing green.

And I'll check out NYX. I love trying out more makeup.

I checked, and there's a store that carries their products that is right down the road from my house~

I saw it today, and I think between Hard Candy and L'Oreal HIP, I could do some serious damage. I prefer MAC, but I'm not working right now, so I can't justify buying any.

I love NYX too. Their products are only sold certain places though. Aside from online, I've only been able to find it at ULTA.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to try some soon now that I know its not junk.

And I'm sad to learn that the nearest place that sells NYX is 200 miles away. That's what I get for living in the middle of nowhere.
