I still wear a sweatshirt that I got in college, just before my 20th birthday. It's still in perfect shape, and I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I don't usually wear things with logos or big words on them (this is a college sweatshirt), but it just reminds me of a fun time in my life.

I tend to get rid of things, so I don't have a lot of my old clothes. I wish I had saved some of them. 80s fashions are back in. I saw some fringed boots in the mall on Saturday ... I had some just like them in high school.

What oldies-but-goodies are you still wearing? Packed away in the garage doesn't count.

I'm still hanging onto the first college tshirt I got, although it's not really wearable any more. The neck is ripped, the arm pits are ripped. The arm and hem stitching has all unravelled.

I can't bring myself to use it as a rag though.

It's fifteen years old.

I lost almost everything I owned in 2001. So I'm not sure if I still have any clothes from before then, but I'm sure I still own clothes I got afterwards, some of those at Goodwill.

My college sweatshirts are 30 years old, and I still wear them. A sundress my mom made for me when I was a junior in college, also c. 1980, I still wear every summer. I also have a few fun party shirts I bought in the early 80s I wouldn't dream of parting with as long as they're not threadbare.

Maybe the old vintage IZOD sweaters from the 60's, as far as wearing them a lot. The one sweater my pap gave me that has been spotted in pictures from the late 50's. They sure don't make them like they used to when it comes to clothing. I have a couple vintage 60's dresses from my gram too. People try to buy those off my back. Weird!

My t shirt from grad school looks like this...it's incredibly soft, though and I still wear it from time to time to do housework in. I don't think I will every throw it out!

I have a Christmas sweatshirt that I got in elementary school that I still wear (in my mid 20s now...). It has a pattern of the Wannemaker's Christmas light show in Philly and is pretty much a classic. I also have jeans from 7th grade that I occasionally wear.

I have a sweatshirt I bought at the San Diego Zoo to commemorate the first panda bears on display there. 1987. Wore it this winter and it's still in excellent condition!

I have an old beat up t-shirt from a nightclub I used to work at in 1989. I only wear it around the house on occasion.

I have a Navy Pea coat that I bought about 17 years ago, it still looks almost new, haven't really worn it all that much over the years as I have a lot of jackets and coats.

I also have an old Army field jacket from the Vietnam era. Still looks relatively new.

I have some relics from the 90s like those heavily bejeweled/sequined/beaded bustiers lingering in the bottom of my lingerie dresser - only put them on very occasionally. I do have some old t-shirts from HS too, but don't really wear those either. Hmmm....ok, now I know! I have an oversized knit sweater with the Eiffel tower on it that I bought at Contempo Casuals (dated, huh?) back in 1986. I will still wear it every now and then, but the thing is like a sieve as I have used the sweater shaver on at least 4 cycles to remove pilling. Yes, I am very partial to that old thing.
