Ok, so I don't care for speedos. I also think it's strange women can wear next to nothing but not men, but so it goes. I say, do what makes you happy, don't wait for people to give you the go ahead that something, like what you are wearing, is ok with them. I understand you wanted a male's point of view but just thought I'd throw that in there.
If men started wearing speedos en masse then it would become ok for men to wear speedos. That's the funny thing about fashion, and society, and tradition and appropriate. We get to decide what is fashionable and appropriate, it's not set in stone.

I agree, but I believe it IS ok for men to wear a speedo now.
Its also ok for a woman to be covered in tatoos and piercings and wear a revealing top with skull and crossbones thong (saw this at the beach this spring). I happen to think they both look really bad doing it, but personal choice/free country.
