I simply cannot stand seeing this anymore. Can you tell I am tired of living where NO ONE has any fashion sense? First off, I am not a girly girl but I like clothes made for WOMEN.
All around me, I see many women dressing like men, in clothes for men. It's driving me mad. I know that people are relaxed up here but gee, does every woman have to put on a butch cap and have really short hair (or very long unkemp hair?).
I think jeans, t-shirts, whatever are fine but get them in flattering cuts for women. I don't just mean farmer women, but women who go shopping like this, to work, whatever. Ugh.
Do these ladies 'not care' to look 'nice' or don't want to appeal to men or what?
I'm confused. Except for the 'dude' beards, you can hardly tell some women from some men! Are all rural areas like this?
Does this bug anyone else?
PS Most women who dressed like this where I am from are not interested in men.

I'm not trying to be 'trollish' just venting.
A woman who is comfortable with the way she looks is very attractive. I don't care for women who dress up fancy or wear makeup.
I think women dress a lot like the other women in their area. In a rural area, where you live, a woman dressed to the nines and perfectly coiffed and made up will be out of place. In uptown Manhattan (just guessing on this one) a woman in sloppy jeans and a t shirt, a scruffy haircut and no makeup would also be out of place.
Most of America is rural or suburban. More relaxed, they dress casually because it is all about comfort and not about looking sharp and fashionable or feminine.
The few cities in America (except for San Fran) have women who dress more chic. The overwhelming majority of Americans live outside of major cities so most Americans dress down.
Just go to any international airport in the world. You can immediately tell who's American. They're wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts, sneakers and a baseball cap -- usually overweight.
I think it has to do with the exapanding American waistline. Many girls just can't wear "flattering" tight-fitting clothes because they're in the double-digit sizes! It's the same why baggy jeans are popular with men.
Gouge out your eyes then, I don't imagine that too many people are going to start dressing different because of your personal opinion on what they should wear.

If you're getting this worked up about other people's choice of attire, I'd suggest you take a look at yourself and see what's going on with you.
