Always wanted a black dress with white polka dots. Now have one and would love ideas on accessories. It's poly knit with dime-sized white dots on black. The style is sleeveless, moderately low v-neck & back, figure skimming empire/slight A-line and knee length. What would you wear with it?
Accessorize with red. Cuff bracelet, great earrings, and peep-toe shoes or strappy sandals with a pedi (red polish). If you don't like your toes, go with slingbacks but heels. Depending on the dress, you might not need a necklace, but I'm thinking bauble, same with the bracelet.

I'd accessorize w/yellow, green/etc. some small pop of color - red I used to do w/black and white back when polka dots were popular before (everything old is new again) - now I think: go w/a different color. Keep it minimal though, polka dots make a statement on their own.
Nude panty-hose
2-inch strapped capezio tap shoes (without the taps of course) in black
A red patent-leather clutch purse
Your hair in an updo or french twist in the back, OR if you have short straight-ish hair, slicked back with gel into a modified DA
A delicate (not chunky) red beaded necklace and matching bracelet
garnet or red crystal studs in your ears - just one in each.
Go for the classic look with that dress. That cut + your figure should be what stands out, not the red of the accessories.

Well, red shoes and accessories are classic. Green would be great too. If you really want to be different, though how about blue? The color of this little guy. This would be a good choice especially if you have blue eyes. It's bold..and unexpected.
