Is there any place where you can drive by and see the construction process of Crystal Bridges? I know there is the walking path and observation deck which is really nice. But I was wondering if there is anywhere where it can be seen by car. I am taking my parents to NWA later this week and I know they would enjoy seeing it, but due to mobility issues, I don't think there is any way my dad could do the walk. The main focus of our trip is to see my son in Fayetteville, but I was thinking it might be nice to drive them up to Bentonville if they could see it, but it seems like a waste of time if there's nothing to see.

You pretty much have to walk to get a good view. Access by road is pretty much obstructed by the distance and the construction equipment.

Thanks for the reply. That was what I was afraid of.

There is not a way to see it by car that I know of but there is a small parking lot off A street before you get to Park Street that is a much shorter walk to the observation deck. There is a public restroom at the parking lot and it's on the east side of the street just passed a few houses. This is north of Compton Gardens. It doesn't show up on google maps because it was just completed a month or so ago.

Thanks for the tip. If the weather is decent I may drive them up there then and check it out. My dad and walk a short distance, but I think the original trail would be more than he could handle.

The short cut just takes a couple of minutes compared to the actual trail. I figured they added it to help out the Bella Vistans.
