How do you keep the chiggers and ticks away from the dogs?

Flea medicine.

Personally, I use K9 Advantix.

And you don't have any problems? I have 3 dogs, so it's a real concern for me.
Thanks

Unless it is a pro article on NWA, then no one questions it.

*disclaimer - I am happy for the people in NWA and the things going on there. I'll never go back but that is personal preference.

I also use k9 advantix and I live deep in the ozarks. I had bad luck with frontline and advantix seems to be the only thing that keeps ticks and fleas off my dog.

I have no problems at all. My mutt is part Lab, part Corgi, about 65 lbs. Loves to run in the woods, and roll in muck. And swim. She'll break the ice at Roaring River to take a dip. Lots of fur, lots of shedding. And she sleeps with me, so any bugs, I'd notice.

We have never had a problem with chiggers I don't think, but for ticks and fleas we use tick and flea medication we get on line or via the vet. You can also get it at Sam's. We have used frontline in the past, but I don't think it is any better or worse than other meds and it is more expensive. I have heard of K9, but might look for it.

I am not a believer in everything I read regardless. Heck I laugh at all the list of things like "10 best places to live" or 10 best places to retire, even though NWA often makes the lists. All of this is simply a matter of opinion, nothing more. A positive article gives bragging rights for a very short period of time, nothing more, nothing less.

NW LA continuously scores in the top 10 worst places to live.

1 article is worthless.

When you have half a dozen saying the same thing, published by different sources...it's worth noting.
