Odd question but we will most likely buying one of the houses or renting one when we first move down there and curious to know if anyone could tell me the width to of the gate to the back yard? As long as i can get one or two people it should be pretty universal (The standards of gate width) throughout. I want to know if i can fit a 48inch mower through the gates

Odd i know but anyones help would be appreciated.

From the fences I've seen, the normal is a single panel which I believe can be no more than 3 feet. some people do request the double gates when they build their fence.

If you have an insufficient opening, contractors usually just remove a panel and re install the fencing afterward.

in my opinion, the cost to add a wider gate should only be a few hundred dollars and not something to prevent you from buying a house.

Thanks for the reply. This isn't for me but i will be bringing my lawn care business and starting "over" when we move down there and was just curious.

Thanks!
