What's it really doing this week? Mainly interested in Thursday night. Is it snowing? Are roads closed? Any real time photos out your front door so to speak? Thanks!

Right now it looks like NWA will be ok until Friday, after tonight. Friday there is a good chance of rain and maybe freezing rain, Sat. rain as well. It isn't going to be a fun time to be outdoors but certainly we have seen worse.

I-49 Complimented For Clear Condition; Roads Refreeze Over Night | 5NEWSOnline.com

You'll be good! I'll take a few pics today although my friend has a 10,000 lb truck that slid down the driveway overnight after he parked it. Wild!

Roads were bad yesterday. On the morning drive today, most of the major roads were ok. Still some slushy areas, though. You should be fine with a little above freezing weather between now and then.

Garfield roads are pretty bad. Even 62 into Rogers was mostly iced over.

Even here in BV the roads are not that good. I just cancelled my physical therapy and the PT center has had one person today. The main roads are ok, but our neighborhood roads are still solid with ice under the snow and drive ways frozen. It is way to cold to go and shovel the snow. If you don't have to get out, I would advise people to stay in. By Thursday it should be much better, just look out for Friday..

Yeah there was more precip in northern parts of NWA.

I just saw this from Dan Skoff. He says another inch of snow tonight.

:/

What kind of hardware would it take to navigate that? I am not concerned with it immediately, but once I move there, I will be. I purchased a Jeep with ELSD's front/rear and 100% torque bias capability per wheel, and skidplates as a preparation for moving to the area. I am slowly becoming displeased with it, though, and somewhat longing for an SRT8 Jeep. Less off-road, but much more livable on-road for someone with my tastes in vehicles. Regardless...is AWD good enough, or do you need AWD, Blizzaks, and ???
