Exactly. My kind of paradise doesn't include mass developments and subdivisions. I know things change with with time but I often miss how things were in NWA when I was growing up (I have lived in NWA my whole life).

This is true, but progress has started and if we are going to have specialty stores, we need a Trader Joes. As for losing the farmland, believe me, especially when you fly over NWA you realize it would take 50 or more years to see a real dent in farmland. We are still very wide open. Yes, we all love the combination of almot rural and yet, almost urban.

Did talk to someone last week at the Trader Joe in Las Vegas. Trader Joes will be coming to AR, when and where I anyones guess. They intend in the next few years to open in all 50 states. I would imagine the first one in AR will be in our area. Time will tell.

I just miss the NWA of my childhood, the NWA of today is not the NWA I grew up in. I am only 35 so the growth NWA has been experiencing has happened fairly rapidly. While I know some growth and development has to happen for my taste its just too much.
