We are friends with couple who have relatives (husband's brother& his wife/child) moving to Siloam Springs area...
He is architect w/firm in FT Worth TX...don't think he has seen lot of promotion just based on where they live/lifestyle.
His wife is from that area tho and her father had heart surgery before Xmas...want them to move back home.

Any local insight in how easy it might be to get hired by firm in Fayetteville?
Is there lot of construction going on there?
He said he might have to commute to Tulsa, which is larger town...

he would have a better chance of getting hired by Walmart than an architecture firm.

Walmart has roughly 50 architects working on floor plans where I sit. They hire new architects every month.

Yes in bentonville. Typically they bring in architects as temps to try them out. After 3 to 6 months if everything works out , the person is hired.

In the 6 months I've been here they've been hiring at the rate of 2 to 3 per month
