How would you compare the two communities and what are the pluses/minuses of each? For those that compared the two and ended up in one, why did you make your choice?

Thank you.

I think comparing the two depends on which one you choose. We did decide on BV but they are similar in many ways as they are part of the Cooper development company.

The areas are beautiful and offer a lot of amenities plus there is never an end of things to do.

Our reasons for choosing BV: 1-though it is somewhat rural it is also within 1/2 hour from everything anyone could want; good restaurants, great shopping and most important outstanding medical facilities. We have 3 hospitals within about 30 minutes as well as every type of specialist one could need at our finger tips.

Our POA dues are less than HSV. I will add one golf course (our small 9 hole one) has been turner into hiking trails, a shooting range and family center. this is a positive as far as most of us are concerned. The community is no longer just for retired people, though there are a lot of us around.

Beauty wise, yes, both areas are absolutely awesome. We have found BV weather a little more to our liking. though the winters are a tad bit cooler, the summers are as well.

For us this was a great move. In fact since we moved here one granddaughter graduated from U of A, married, has 2 children and lives about 20 minutes away: our oldest daughter and hubby have settle here about 4 miles from us and our oldest granddaughter, hubby and 3 girls are here, about 15 of 20 minutes from us. What more can we ask for?
