I just hope Feb isn't cold: we are leaving for a cruise on The 6th and I don't want to see us get stuck and not able to get out of town. We do spend the night before at the airport just to be safe. We also dont want to come home on the 17th to freezing cold weather.

Duke, I just do not think last winter was all that cold. How many years have you lived in NWA? The winter lasted forever yes, but not all that cold and very little snow.

There was no snow, but plenty of single digit days. This year is way closer to what I expected, last winter was my first one here.

It's all about the location of the jet stream over the winter months. It has been north of us for several years during winter. It could revert back and change any time

Looks like now they are talking some snow either late Wed or maybe Thurs. I am not sure how much or what the prediction is, but it is still a possibility.

Duke, yes we had some single digit nights last year but it really wasn't a bad winter. If you thought it was, one of these years you are really going to think it is cold. The only thing about last winter, it did hang on forever and then we jumped right into summer with a very short spring.

I've lived most of my life in MN or CO and as far as winter go it wasn't bad at all. It was, however, a hell of a lot colder than I expected it to be. I hope it doesn't snow, I'd be happy never to see it or single digits again the rest of my life.

well I can imagine how you would not want to see anymore snow, but I am sure, no matter what, it will never be like Co or NM> I don't think any of us like those single digits. I can take anything from about 15 degrees if I don't have to go outside, but I hate to wake up and see the temps 9 degrees.
