I see Tesla’s almost daily on the roads here. I am wanting an electric car but I can’t afford a 40k vehicle. I could afford a used one in a few years though.

I thought Tesla's were 100 grand? Either way I see them daily too but I think closest is Tulsa.

the guy at work had no plans to buy any car, let alone a Tesla, until his friend bought a model 3 and let him test drive it. He decided to buy the car after 1 week of thinking about it. While he has plenty of income to spend on it, I think the car must be pretty amazing to make a new buyer so easily. He couldn't stop talking about the car before he picked it up.

They have a cheaper one that starts around 40k. Other manufacturers have some in that price range as well.

I have been hearing nothing but great things (except for some QC issues) from Tesla owners.
