The other area ideas liking was greenwood. Houses seem a little better priced. But wasnt sure how ft Smith is. Thanks
If he has a possible job choice and it were me, I would, for sure take the job in Bentonville. As for high schools in Rogers, it has to do with location as much as anything. Like more cities, there are good and bad areas of the city, but none of Rogers would be considered bad.

Small world. I also currently live in Vegas, and planning a move to NWA. Wife’s family is all over there, talked about it for years, but my job kept me here. Well, got laid off, so we’re heading out. Gonna be Lavaca/Ft Smith area most likely.

Yes, small world. Lol. We are so torn between bentonville and fort smith. We have never visited so going blindly off reviews and close friends and family comments too. Obviously we have it all in vegas but ready for more land, smaller town and better community vibe.

A visit is mandatory. Make sure you visit the other side of Beaver Lake. A trip to Eureka Sprinks is always fun for the ladies.

Good suggestions; OP, again this is just my opinion but check FT Smith our really closely before you even think of living there. I just know I would certainly stick with the towns some have suggested that are further north, like Bentonville, Fayetterville, Rogers and some of the great surrounding areas. Of course if your hubby ends up taking a job further south that will change the whole situation. It is for certain you need to make a trip here for a few days to better understand the differences in these towns. You might be surprised at what we have to offer. No, we don't have all the lights and fancy casinos you have in Vegas, but we do plenty of good food, entertainment, nice restaurants, super friendly people and lots of fun things to do plus natural beauty. We do not have the traffic jams here, but I would guess you won't miss that part
