Thinking about buying land out by beaver lake. And just curious what people out that way ended up paying. I understand there are allot of factors that can effect cost. just trying to get an rough estimate.

Your best bet is to contact a well driller in Rogers/Springdale/Fayetteville, and provide them with the physical area surrounding the lake you are considering. They will have records of well depth/gallons per minute.etc, of the wells they have drilled. They should be able to offer a ballpark $ per foot to develop a well. The Ozarks are comprised of a lot of limestone...which is time consuming to drill. The good news is drilling through solid limestone will require less well casing, reducing your cost.

I agree, we can’t help much with estimates. I have nearly perfect water except for hardness. All my neighbors but one has one or multiple of sulfur, iron, and gas. Having those things in your water will increase your overall water setup. Also, my well is 400+ feet but next door is 200 something.

I will say that I installed a “cycle stop valve” on my well system. I would highly recommend one. It helps keep water pressure constant.
