Are there toll roads in NWA? If you travel from NWA to OK or MO, would you encounter toll roads? Just wondering if residents have toll tags. Thanks.

Yes.

If you take highway 412 out of Siloam Springs AR into OK heading West, you will encounter a toll road (the Cherokee Turnpike). You do have an option to bypass it with backroads, but the turnpike is much faster (just watch your speed, they have a zero tolerance speed - set at 75mph)

I can’t tell you how many times I was going with traffic at 80 and was still passed by traffic on the turnpike.

There have been talks of putting a toll road in our area but it has not been done.

It's hit or miss. Their signs say "zero tolerance" under the 75mph speed limit signs. I travel the road a few times a year and have seen folks pulled over several times. But I agree with you, people pass me all the time, and I normally run around 78 ish.

Where would they put a toll road at here in NWA?

None in NWA.
When we travel from NWA to visit family in SE OK, we take the Indian Nation Turnpike because it beats all the alternative routes.
Even tho we live in AR we maintain toll tags because we find it more convenient.

I believe they've raised the speed limit to 80 on most of the rural portions of the OK turnpikes in the last year. I set the cruise on 80 the last time I was over that way and still got passed. I haven't seen much enforcement ever on the turnpikes.

I got family over there but refuse to sign up for a Pike Pass. I believe they force you to maintain a $20 balance. I just go to the bank occasionally and get a roll of dollar coins and quarters and carry that in a little zippered coin purse and keep it in my car. Easy peasy.

Arkansas and Missouri don't have toll roads.
If you want better chances of a smooth ride in Oklahoma, pay their silly toll.
I often wished Oklahoma would build a turnpike somewhere along their eastern border that would allow for a bypass of NWA altogether.
... and lower all speed limits to 65-70 for common-sense sake.

What is the toll tag called for OK? Where do you get it? Would the same toll tag work in MO?
Thanks.

It’s called Pikepass for Oklahoma.
Missouri has no toll roads.
Arkansas has no toll roads.
