One thing about the humidity I did forget, the BO from all the sweating does affect the air quality immediately surrounding one... no way around it unless you stand under a shower all day, which I guess in effect you are anyway...

BO.. luckily not many hippies reside in NWA (yet). Most folks round here still believe in deodorant.

It was not very good yesterday at my location in West BV. It smelled like I was downwind of a slaughter house or something.

I have lived downwind of a slaughter house once, and worked downwind of one on another occasion. Weather Underground has a feature that can help you discover where that foul wind is coming from:
https://www.wunderground.com/wunderm...=-93.8&zoom=10
On the left side of the screen, a couple inches down from "radar" is "windstream."

Click on Windstream and give it a minute to load. You can see where the foul wind is coming from.

I once dated a gal that worked in a cigar factory- she showered daily but still stank of tobacco...
Kissing her was like sucking on a cigar.

I had a job once that made me smell like pizza.

A couple years later, I worked a job that made me smell like diesel fuel and cow manure.

So I understand that.

This particular day the wind was blowing from the North. I know there are fields North of me in Missouri with cattle up there per Google maps. I am about a 1/2 mile from Missouri (as the crow flies).

Cattle farms, hog farms, chicken farms… As much as the new found elitist (Bentonville) socialites want to pretend they are living their newfound utopia… The surrounding areas go on about their business of feeding the country.
The ‘strange’ smells (depending on wind conditions) are perfectly normal.

Well, there are also a couple other things not too far from reubenray that he may have been smelling, but I don't know how many miles away (since I don't know his exact location) and the wind would have to be "just right" for him to smell them.
