What is the work being done one the side of the road by Commonwealth, Euston, & Trafalgar on the east side of Bella Vista. It looks like pipes are being laid; are these for sewer or water or ???

Some one said it was for water. The POA is doing this and also putting in fire hydrants, which is beyond me as it is the CITY fire dept that will use these, if they work, as I have never seen anyone test any fire hydrants, which they need to be tested every so often according to law, I am not sure how often, but I am sure it is more than every 6 years or so.

Maybe they test them at 3am when we are we all in bed.
actually, in all honesty, I don't think I remember seeing fire hydrants checked anywhere in my life, or rarely...Maybe I just don't pay attention..
