From one artist (ANN'S NATURE PAINTINGS, Wildlife and Landscapes in Nature) to another:
Walt, I don't think I've ever seen a painting you've done that I don't think is awesome. Your colours and details are just amazing. What medium do you use?

What I really love about your paintings is the fact that when I view one I always end up smiling big time.

Congratulations. I like it. I confess I like paintings done in the "naive" or "primitive" style and I have a few Haitian primitive paintings in my collection.

The only thing I would have preferred is if you left out the butterfly. I have nothing against butterflies. My only suggestion is that I hope you resist the temptation of creating pictures that become overly sweet or sentimental. I confess that I find the work of Thomas Kincaid (self-styled "The Painter Of Light" ... yuck ... how pretentious and self congratulatory ) ... NAUSEATING. Sentimental paintings become saccharine- like and cloying.
Amen to all three paragraphs!

And congratulations to the artist

Hey Walt!

I just came across some of your paintings on another website - one devoted to selling reproductions of fine art. I especially admired a gorgeous rural landscape paintings you did featuring pumpkins!!!

It was also great to see your photo - you were wearing a very bright Hawai'ian "Aloha" shirt!

You're a talented guy, but I didn't realize how famous you are! Good luck always!!!
