Danzig Art.

the first pic is from the insleeve of the DANZIG III - How The Gods Kill CD. originally, i wanted to have a smaller version of the stained glass made, but found that for something even, say 12x24 inches, it would cost me like 1200 bucks. then i figured i can sculpt something alot more detailed than stained glass. the framing place wanted $200 to make a frame, but told me i had to reinforce the piece before they would frame it because it was pretty unstable (had a few cracks in the back of it.) once i reinforced it, why pay 200 for a frame? i made the frame out of scrap pine wood, spray paint, and furniture tacks.

i plan to make a representation of the griffin side of the stained glass in the picture.

bored. thought i'd share.

Looks like a scene from Ragnarok; the Fenris wolf killing Odin.

Very interesting concept. What was your process? What did you sculpt it in, clay? Did you fire it? Then did you paint it with silver or cover it? Very cool.

I think the anatomy of the girl is a bit off, the breasts are too round and too far apart for laying down. The arm seems too long and the hand seems twisted, the thumb and little finger just don't seem right. Too bad the frame is encroaching on the girls head and can't see the hair.
