Documentary film making is in huge demand today. But It is not a easy task to become a documentary film maker. In order to become a successful documentary film maker
one must follow some guidelines. I am discussing them below:
Understanding the goal behind making the documentary.
Finding the topic of documentary before starting the work.
Gathering required information for making the film in the best manner.
Checking every person and equipments before starting shooting.
Editing the full documentary after shooting to give it the best appeal.
A friend of mine makes documentaries and he has a real dedication to it. The cameras and editing equipment is very expensive and luckily he is talented enough to make his own music. Otherwise he would be paying for it.
He does make a living from it and his camera has taken him to some amazing places to film and interview amazing people.
producing a good interesting documentary is the easy part, finding a distributor/ market is a a different story.
Hmmmm How about making a documentary about making a documentary?
