I love Dali stuff. Persistence of memory is my favorite.

However, for my all time favorite painting ever, it's a toss up between two Guy Buffet paintings.
One I own: Vin du jour and dog du jour
and one I was too stupid to buy when I had a chance: Fast bus to New Dehli

Wow. I like this thread, a lot of people choose ones I've never seen before. Awesome . Here are some of my faves:

The Great Wave of Kanagawa

The Persistence of Memory

Orange Marilyn

Starry Night

The Scream

Mona Lisa (I know, yawn)

It's not a painting per se, but I love the Sistine Chapel ceiling as well.

I have a long list of fave paintings but the latest one on my list is by Kieron Williamson, a nine year old child prodigy aka Mini Monet.

And this one by Adolph Hitler. I'd like to think that there's something beautiful in everyone.

Robert Bernardi - a hyperrealist painter

Tom Martin - another hyperrealist painter

Karen Eland - Her paintings are done in expresso. She puts a caffeinated spin on classic paintings by famous artists like Vermeer, DaVinci, Michelangelo, and Picasso.
