This statue was in my dad's office. When he died in 2004 this was given to me. I have no idea who the artist is or where my dad got this from. It's a weird sculpture but I keep in my wall unit.
I guess no ones knows about this. I tried researching online and came up with nothing. There are no marks or signature on it either. I am thinking it's maybe a local piece. I should have asked my dad about it before he died but at the time I did not know he had this until it was given to me. He was an insurance broker and new some artists and probably insured some art. but not sure who. Maybe this statue was a thank you gift or maybe he bought it and liked it. it's a mystery. My mom has no idea about it either. I may have to take it to an art dealer.

Google "Alberto Giacometti". He's an important 20th century artist in the modernist camp... been dead awhile. Swiss I think.
It looks like a college-level art student's work inspired by Giacometti - not unusual, Its hard to find a sculpture major who HASN'T copied his style for a project. Like Picasso to painting, he was one of the leaders of modern art in his medium.
