Society is extremely complex, in that people are full of obsessions for or against one thing or another.
Not having a sister growing up I knew little about girls, so the fascination with them was a big mystery easily entertained with what media was available in the 50s and 60s.
I did not long for sex, but simply wished to under stand the female mind and the chemistry of our existence. Sex education helped in school seeing our parents said nothing typically either way.
My interest in females eventually became more artistic and my parents showed no objection but I tried to maintain a subtle interest.
I had been tempted as teen with girls that wanted sex, but I had seen the consequences of fooling around and kept free of that activity. I remained a virgin till I was married @ 25, and that was fine with me.
I have no objection to the sculpture of David, in fact I think that children of a, ages should visit the exhibition "The body Human" which displays several real bodies dissected to see the veins and arteries and muscular and bone structure and the developing of the fetus in the womb month by month, even the internal prosthetics that have been implanted like joints and such. I believe that the more children see this kind of thing regularly the better they can appreciate the body they have.
The few times I visited there were hundreds of children there as well in aw of the real life discoveries.
This country was founded by pleasure-hating religious fundamentalists. Art is a pleasure, therefore….
