By far my all-time favorite artist is the glass master, Dale Chihuly. His stuff is so amazing as to appear to be surreal. True Eye Candy!
Do yourself a favor and do a Google Image search to see some of his art.
I guarantee you'll be awed and amazed.

Typically, my favorites have been the impressionists. The original works of Van Gogh and Birger Sandzen were a visual treat. Most of Sandzen's works are in private collections now and no longer accessible. I'm finding new artists on-line, like Lesley Humphrey, Anna Razumovskaya, and her young protege, Ivan Alifan. I respond to vibrant colors and movement, with some level of realistic detail I can relate to. I also like some of the beautiful things being done now in glass, led by Dale Chihuly, as others have mentioned.
