I have goldfish in my outdoor ponds. I'd guess over the year the water temp might vary from the mid 30s (F) to the mid 80s. Until the Koi got bigger the main problem I had was overpopulation by the goldfish. I've added platies to the ponds some years and I'd guess the temp during their stay probably ranged from the mid-60s to the mid-80s. I would be to not worry about a few degrees of temp.

What's the room temperature? What if you live in tropical area, what do you do to make the temp 70 for gold fish, as they sell heaters, but not coolers for aquarium.

You can get chillers for aquariums. Folks who run reef systems often use them, as corals grow best under metal halide lights which can throw off a lot of heat. Chillers are expensive to run, though.
