Healthy fish a couple years old, with test kits and help from knowledgeable people.

Yeah, although you keep protesting against test kits, they are well worth the initial investment.

Are you a kid? Just asking. There are many great books by proclaimed fish keepers, scientists out there; that would help you better understand how to keep a healthy environment for a pond, lake, brackish, or saltwater tank/enclosed.

is this the magical tank you wanted to keep both goldfish and platies in or the one you planned to do cichlids in?

It's Quaker15, NOT Quack!

To answer your question, I am doing the goldfish plus few tropicals (guppies, platies, etc.) first and then later try out the cichlids.

By the way, I am not here to amuse you. If you're amused by me, you owe me!

Hey Quack, what did you end up getting to use for a tank stand? Did you buy the whole setup in the pet store where you got the tank, or did you find a table separate? And I forget, did you get a 29 or a 40 gallon?

*roots through pockets* would you like your payment in dog cookies, pocket lint, or bits of straw hay and random livestock feed? theres also a raisin (though it could possibly be rabbit poop) you can have that too for payment for future amusment
