I have a 29 gallon tank. One large cave like decoration in my tank. A 10-11ish inch common pleco. I noticed today that a ton of bugs in it today. They seem to super active- jumping through the water and on the glass. i have had them once in the past and i did a huge tank clean up ( cleaned everything with clorox)( last time i had them they were making white patches on my place's skin. i think they were eating him) . I thought i got rid of them. they have returned. I am assuming these are new ones. They are small. some are white others have a yellowish brown white color. Really don't want them to harm my fish. what are they? are they bad for my fish? I need some help. thanks!( they are reproducing at a rapid rate too)

Not sure. First time i had these i realized that my pleco's skin was being chewed at and i realized there were these small( babies) and larger things moving on him. They are back. can't see any harm on my pleco's skin right now. They movie in a jerky semi quick movement. they were harmful. there are a lot of them and there are a ton of babies.

there are so many and they move in a fast jerky movement. they are easy to spot and they have a darkish clear grayish color

i think its an ostracopad - cause it looks like that

also- there are so many . why are they harming my fish and how do i get rid of them

how did they get in my tank in the first place?

Can you get pics ? Don't think you can be fully helped until we see what is going on. First thing I can think of is do water changes and I would presume you feed too much ?
