Hello all , i have aquarium was finished cycle since 2 month and was there 1 clown fish but it is died from 10 dayed by whit spot now the aquarium is empty just rock and christmas tree worms , i want know how i treat white spot on aquarium by change water only because i have lps and live rock ????
What time it take to be aquarium safe to add another fish ????

Usually a good aquarium store can provide the info you need to get rid of the conditions that cause white spot.

If it's a white spot, it's likely ich. Your LFS will have medication for it - I don't recall if there's one specific for saltwater tanks. But typically you need to apply the treatment in the water, remove carbon from filtration, and let it cycle for 48 hours, then do a 25% water change. Then apply treatment again. The treatment I usually have turns the water blue, and once everything clears up you can add the carbon back in the filter chambers (the reason you remove this is because carbon will suck up all of the medicine and will render the treatment useless if you don't). Lastly, I would not add anymore fish until a week's time after.
