Hollywood with bad movie info has mis-informed the people what a sewer is. With plot lines that people can crawl thru a sewer and reach bank vaults and such.

I would have never even thought that alive fish flushed down the toilet is supposed to survive!
How about water-treatment plants - doesn't all sewer end up there, or just in some places?

What a grizzly discussion.

Not everyone has a sewer system, a lot of people have septic tanks, that's what we have. Either way there is no reason to flush a live fish, it's torture to the fish. I don't have to euthanize fish very often, usually when they don't respond to meds, but when I do I just squish them, instant death.
