Somehow, in our fish tank of ALL MALE FISH (mollies and tetras) we ended up with baby mollies! I looked in the tank and I saw three little babies and was like WHAT?!?!! Apparently one of the boys isn't exactly a boy.. she sure fooled me!

So now I am the grandmother of 7 babies that I have caught and put in my baby fish net thing (that I had from when we had guppies reproducing every 10 seconds) and there are still a couple I can see swimming around that I can't catch. What a suprise I forgot how cute and tiny baby fish were, it has been so long!

Congrats! Our cichlids have had some babies several times in the past and I get alittle crazy when I can't save them all.

Update: There are more then 7.. so far I have counted like 15, yikes! This sounds mean, but unfortunately our other fish will not eat the babies.. so they are all going to grow up and my tank is going to get overpopulated, noo!! This is guppies all over again, ahh!

Ps. Two have gotten sucked up the filter and died, it makes me really sad

It is so cool though, they are only a few days old and some are half black and one is completely black, it looks neat as a baby! The rest I imagine will grow up to be orange.
