We are still looking into our little piece of heaven.....lol...
Wish me luck of finding it, lol, because if not, we might have to consider the moon at this time....lol.
But, I will let you know, what we came up with
Won't be on I guess for a couple of days or so, but will be back, to bust your chops a little more

I am not a fish person, but I do know that dogs, horses & cats that are kept confined act crazy. Just for lack of exercise. So I figured why not fish??
As for a horse try a weanling and maybe hubby won't notice [HAHAHAHAHA]

Can I fit one of those in my purse?!?

My oscar was full grown when I bought him. I think he may have been put in a 40 gal. which maybe made him go crazy for lack of room. You would think 90 gallons would make him happy! Ah well, makes for interesting conflict!

Depends on size of purse & perhaps a mini horse 12 inches at birth maybe would work.wonder if I could get one passed the landlord!!!

Great! Now I just have to teach it to act like a stuffed animal on command and we will be set!

My husband does know that some day I would like to move to an acreage and get a horse. His name will be "Of Course".

Up pops that word 'weird' again.

well, he probably is throwing a fit because of used to being alone, and the whole tank being his territory.

Oscars have a lot of personality. Finicky like cats, throw tantrums like 2 year olds, come up to you and wag their tail like a dog,

How many other fish? How often do you do water changes and filtration? You don't have to answer here, but those are the questions usually asked.

I knew someone with 2 in a 55, the water quality would get the one p'ed off and go into attack mode. In fear of it killing the other, it was chased away with the handle of the net ... it would back down until the room was empty, then attack again ... soon the handle wasn't a visual threat anymore. Also, the 55 wasn't enough territory for two oscars ... they loved each other most of the time, but they had their spats. They were given away to a bigger tank, and as far as I know, that solved the problems. (2 in a 55 is a water change nearly every day).

Oh, and if you don't know already, don't let it bite you!!! They have razor sharp teeth flush in their lips ... a graze can slice without them intended to do so ... so if he is aggressive and wants to bite, it will probably hurt a bit

I have one in a 55, he is a spoiled brat ... eats krill and shrimp out of my hand. moves plants around when he is mad, gets upset when I change the water and so on.

If all things are well, you could try rearranging the tank next water change, give some extra hiding spots for the other fish, it may break up his territorial nature ... even if just for a short while.

Hope all goes well and he leaves the other fishies alone ... if not ... they may be m.i.a. soon.
