I've been using SuddenLink for my cable internet for the past couple of years. They recently sent notice that they want to put caps on the usage (must be because all of the old folks around me playing online games????).

What other options are there? I work over the internet so it needs to be pretty reliable and fast. I have no idea how much bandwidth I use, and I don't want to have to know. I know I'm way below their caps, but again I don't want to have to worry. What if I go on a Netflix binge? Or need to download a bunch of stuff for work?

You can get internet service through Cable One or Century Link. I have the Century Link bundle with phone, internet and DirecTV. My internet is FAST. I don't know if you have to bundle for Cable One but I expect you can get JUST internet and phone through Century Link. I am considering going back to Cable One for everything because they are cheaper. I don't know if Dish has internet service or not but I'm going to guess they probably do. So three options for you...

I'll have to look into Cable One. I just need internet. IP phones are a pain if your connection gets slow while giving a presentation on the internet the voice breaks up. I hate being in meetings like that. I also already have DirecTV.

So far, Suddenlink has been adequate but I don't like the idea of worrying about how much bandwidth I've used. Just not the kind of thing I need to worry about.

Thanks!
