We're thinking about staying one night at the Mago Retreat in Sedona in early June.....Does anyone have any information or experience with this retreat or the facility? Thanks!

Sedona Mago Retreat Center.

never heard of it until I googled it just now....

Free Vortex Tours!

Sedona in June will be somewhat warm all day long, bright sun, dry.....evenings will cool off quickly and if you can get yourself up early, temps will be perfect....remember, no daylight savings time in most of Az, including Sedona and Phx....actual sunrise will be about 5:20am.....

as for vortexes and harmonic convergences in Sedona, somebody else may advise on that....

Yes, I found it on a Sedona site...a special Mago was having. Not really much different than their regular rate but that's how I found them. I mainly like the idea of being *out* and staying away from the businesses, etc. I forget exactly where it is but you take a dirt road for like 12 miles and they have a pretty large area. I thought it would be nice to be away from lights and etc. My husband is interested in Tai Chi and Chi Qong (sp) and they have instructors there for the different types. Thought it may be interesting. Thanks for the info on the weather. That is helpful and I had forgotten about the time not changing in the area. Thanks for replying!

Default Loving Sedona!

I lived in Sedona, although not familiar with that retreat, must have been built after we moved. That dirt road, I believe you are speaking of is called "Snebley Hill" You turn left right after the bridge (across from Telachypacky Village-spelling might be wrong) It is the most beautiful scenic back road that will take you up to I-17, you'll pass a cattle ranch tucked back in the woods ontop. Check with the Chamber.
Enjoy Sedona and although its summer, prepare for any kind of weather!!
I Recommend The Havalina Cantina for Mexican Food with a beautiful view.

It's located well west of Sedona proper on Bill Gray Rd.

I have searched for reviews so many times and couldn't find any.....don't know how I could have missed what you found. Who knows what I did but I'm so glad you found the info and I appreciate you sharing. I hope they still have openings for the night we'll be there. I had put off making the reservation but I will call today.
