why doesn't this station connect the rest of arizona?

These were the only stations listed on the stops for the Southwest Chief schedule. So I would say no for Yuma.

There used to be the peavine route from Ash Fork to Phoenix but it took 8 hours

Roughly 5,000 feet elevation difference.

My experience trying to get a taxi in Flagstaff from a private residence in town to the train station resulted in no response from all 3 taxi companies and uber too! The messages for each firm was disabled and their message was to keep calling but I was never able to connect no matter the time of day i tried. My train was coming in at 4:25 AM. I managed to get a ride from a friend but taxi service was non-existent! I wonder if this is a staffing issue or still covid related?
