After there's no more lockdown, a number of people from the 11 states that are not observing lockdown, may wish to travel to Sedona/Grand Canyon this summer, and, perhaps all your efforts will be in vain, and all the states with restrictions.

Unfortunately, there's no 100% compliance in this country.

The OP doesn't seem to get that he can still transmit the virus even though supposedly tested negative. This is the kind of ignorant hubris and selfishness that is keeping the curve from flattening at a faster rate.

Also be aware that the Navajo Nation (your Tuba City to Monument Valley loop you mentioned) is effectively closed to non-Tribe members and has a strict curfew imposed.

Just stay home...sounds like your Governor is about to ease up on your protocols anyway so you can go tour around Texas.

So, Lothario, looks like you have moved on, from your duplicate post in the Monterey County forum to Flagstaff-Sedona?

https://www.city-data.com/forum/mont...-lockdown.html

You seem to be getting more action in the Arizona forum, though some posters are giving you heck, as well they should, oh selfish one. Where else will you next troll?

I think you meant to say "I can choose to "be stupid" ".

I think you must be bored at home looking for something to do. Be an adult. Try that.

Default My 2 cents

I realize this is an old post but I wanted to chime in. To anyone wanting to just go on a sight-seeing trip because you are bored, please learn to respect others. We are all having to sacrifice at this time and while you might want to just take a trip, with all due respect, no one wants you strolling around sight-seeing. You could be a carrier. Just because you tested negative today, you could be positive tomorrow. Respect the residents of the states you want to impose on and stay the heck home. While it is a free country, it is very selfish of you to be imposing yourself on others. Stay home!

I'm travelling to Sedona tomorrow from the Phoenix area just to get away from the heat for a few days.
I was able to book a hotel room paid for 2 nights, get 3rd night free. I'm seeing several restaurants are open. I'm hoping to find ones with outdoor patios. I'm going to meet up with a friend and do some hiking and 4 wheeling, then perhaps some shopping. I'll wear my face mask if / when required.
