It's not as bad as Illinois.

Default There are worse places...

Sadly our political system is oiled by money trying to exert its influence. This happens in every state in the country. Having said that, I grew up in New Jersey and now live in Illinois. Those 2 places make Florida look like a group of rank amateurs in the corruption department.

I just read Rubio is being busted on more fraudulent spending in addition to his Tally home being behind on payments and I think, although am not 100% sure, the foreclosure process has begun on it.

ALL states have idiots in their offices screwing people over, or involved in illegal things, no matter where you go.

They just seem to get caught more. All politics is corrupt, with no exceptions. Even the smallest towns have their "Boss Hogs". It is just the nature of it. Kind of like you lock your doors out to keep honest people honest because everyone has it in them to be dishonest. Now put them where they are in charge with no checks to stop them and watch the most honest person become corrupt.

When you see them caught and see how they react I believe in most cases they are being real. They can't believe they had this in them to do what they have done, none of us do. I am afraid we are extremely imperfect as a species.

I think you've got FL confused with states like NY, NJ, and IL
