Exactly! Or Philadelphia with the rest of Pennsylvania, or Atlanta with the rest of Georgia....the list goes on.

I live in Illinois currently, it's not as bad. I received a job upon the 1st week of applying for it. Though, I'm ready to move already. There's nothing important here, move to Portland!

Default Illinois Sucks

I have a child that has ADHD and a mood disorder. I can't get any help unless he has the "Special Needs" label like Autism Spectrum. There are no resources here and I live in the western suburbs and in Dupage County. Dupage hospitals has to stay within Dupage otherwise I have to transfer medical records to the new doctor in city of Chicago and go there for all my son's appt. NO WAY. There are way too many shootings in Chicago alone. Just this past weekend a 14 year old girl killed another 14 yr old girl over a boy. Everything is super high, jobs suck, education sucks unless your living in a mansion.

I'm looking to get the hell of out Illinois, the weather sucks here. I am looking into the Sarasota area I have read great schools for my son's needs without the label. People are rude period. I am a single mom looking to start over. There's crime everywhere but I bet Illinois is the only corrupted state out there and I don't vote. I like where I live but hate the weather. I have lived my life here and its time to move on.

You should check into doing mom and child play dates or singles things to do. Or go play bingo! I can't wait to I move.
