Well, I guess I just always feel guilty leaving a place. When I said I feel like I am doing something bad, it was just the feeling bad for moving on, not going to the new place that is GOOD for me, believe me. Trust me, those feelings are going away!!! LOL. I am so looking forward to going to a new place, new challenges, new part of FL.

When I think to myself how my company truck died a MONTH ago, they made me run all over the place getting quotes for a new one, not once, but twice, then they are blowing it off getting one, meanwhile I have to use a 3 seat golf cart to run around the property for work, if it rains.....I go home, screw them. I have to move my shop across the property, on a friggin golf cart! Pulling water heaters a half mile ON A GOLF CART!!! With one hand steering, one pulling the appliance dolly.

Then I think about how I have to work alone here, no help, and no one to cover me on days off, vacations, etc. They make me find someone when I have vacation days, when it's not my job to do so...

I am on emergency call 24/7/365 year after year...

Ok, I am guilt free guys.... WHEW!!!!! What was I thinking?

^^^ Yeah man, screw that... go to your better place... hopefully they'll know how to treat their employees. You're in a touch occupation and place of employment (apartment complexes), no doubt about it.

Lets see how fast a work truck shows up here when I turn my notice in the week after Thanksgiving... I guarantee they try to make me stay. This will be fun.

There's a million people out of work. They'll be lining up for that job.Truck or no truck. No one else will even know that they ever had one. Enjoy your new job.Your lucky you got that. This is far from the land of opportunity that it was just a few short years ago.

Chris you will love the cooler weather and the nice Atlantic breezes of the NE Florida coast. Also the shorter growing season and less humidity makes upkeep of property exterior and grounds a whole lot easier. I personally liked Port Orange a lot.. not crazy for the many rundown parts of Daytona.

I never went. It just didn't work out, I stayed here, but it gave me the opportunity to get to where I want to be, Massachusetts. I leave in 6 weeks.
