I was wondering if anyone had any info on the jobs/homes/schools in the Jacksonville or Melbourne area. Or any other area that might be affordable, jobs nearby, & beach nearby. I know I'm reaching here, but we are FED UP with the high cost of living here & no benefits. (except Chicago). ANY pros/cons/ideas would greatly be appreciated!! Also good/bad/ & ugly info on Florida would be geat!
Houston, Texas.

Rated as the # 1 relocation destination by Forbes and according to UHAUL, It's the # 1 destination for one way UHaul trucks as well.

Our job market and economy are stong and diverse, our cost of living in Texas ranks 4th behind Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Our houses are cheap and we have a very large selection, http://www.har.com

Our culture, performing arts and art galleries rank 2nd in the U.S. (only New York is better)

Plus, you're only 45 minutes North West of Galveston Island and other Gulf Coast Beaches.
