Tampa's a real city-same with Jacksonville. St. Augustine is real. Just my opinion.
So you pretty much choose to ignore the historical parts of Orlando and focus on the touristy parts. Got it.

Those theme parks didn't exist in the 1950's and while they might be part of YOUR culture, they aren't part of mine or anyone I know.
I'm not sure how you think Floridians are suppose to "talk"(nasally Midwestern accent maybe), but the speech patterns of Jacksonville natives are a pretty good representation of a huge section of Florida.

I don't think that Miami represents Florida as a whole. It does not seem to fit in to me...I have lived in West Palm Beach, and Miami. This town is different. Like a parrot, in a flock of sparrows.

I think Miami is the oddball, by far. IMO, it doesnt even feel like the US, so why would it feel like FL? Jax to me is the most like real FL. Jax is very much a part of the South, Tampa and Central FL also have a southern element and charm in some areas. I feel like Miami is definitely the oddball. I know life-long Floridians and natives that wont even claim Miami.

I went with Jacksonville as the oddball but like it much better as a city in Florida then Miami.

I am with most others in that Jacksonville is a sleeper of a large town in Florida to me.

Unless you are on the outskirts of the town you really cannot tell you are in a huge city in Florida.

I know people who won't even claim Jacksonville as a city in Florida.

Those people are most likely not native Floridians. Someone from Long Island may not claim it, they can have Boca Raton. But natives and long-timers, they appreciate Jax for what it still is.
