I think this past week has shown a lot of people made the mistake of moving up north and are dreading it. Believe me you couldn't pay me either.

There was a very long thread on the NY board about people who had moved south and regretted it. It was about 30 pages if I remember correctly.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Tara, people do move back north and stay there.

If you don't believe me, search it for yourself.

I know people who moved to Florida and moved back home. One main reason was because she said people weren't nice at all down there and moved back to Massachusetts lol

Is it really imposible for you to understand that ONE place is not for everyone?

I grew up near Boston, no amount of money could attract me to move back there.

Honestly, your posts make you seem like maybe you have some psychiatric issues like maybe you are depressed or something. You are one of the most negative posters on here. Its not enough for you to dislike where you live, you WANT everyone to hate it too.

Have you stopped to consider what a dis-service you are doing to your kids being so negative? Life throws people curves, its important to teach your children how to look at the positive rather then dwelling on the negative, or wallowing in it like you seem to.

Uh, i'm hockeymom's daughter, I'm not negative. You have to understand my mother to understand her posts. She never talks about disliking Florida. She does on this message board; it's her way to vent. She's trying to make points that not everyone loves Florida and thinks it's a paradise.

Another 3 dead and thousands without power today in Nevada. Ice hindering rescue efforts. This has been a very deadly winter so far.
