Hi,

Live in Florida on Hernando Beach....love having the water in my backyard! BUT....when we want to vacation, we want to take our dogs with us and enjoy the same things we have at home. Found Indian Pass Campground on the web...near Cape San Blas. Can't believe how dog friendly the area is...restaurants, shopping, etc. Is this TRUE? You know how web sites can be misleading. Anyone been there? Thanks.

Cape San Blas and the area REALLY is that pet friendly! The Cape San Blas beaches were just rated the best beaches in America. There are a number of restaurants that will allow you to dine with your dog on their outdoor patios as well!

Well-behaved dogs aren't just allowed in the area, they are welcome. Having 2 dogs in our family, we love to vacation on the Cape!

We spent 2 months at Indian Pass with our puppy ginny, she loved running on the beach & she made lots of dog friends. We are planning on going back this year !!! Helen & Joe Harlow
