If the heat in the (growing) cities is increasing, and scientists can't figure out why, perhaps a field trip is in order. First have them sit on a field covered with grass, and then sit on the blacktop paved road leading to the field. A city that increases the paved and developed areas will get warmer on sunny days.

It used to be that roads were dirt or concrete or macadam, which became lighter as the tar receded from the surface stones. Those, at least, reflected the sunlight. Asphalt is dead black and absorbs just about all of the sunlight that falls on it. <sarcasm mode on> Gee, I wonder if that might have an effect? <sarcasm mode off>

As well as all the heat being put outside by air conditioners. You can tell the difference between Kendall and the Everglades. Pavement and buildings store heat. Trees and grass evaporate it.

Some of those third world countries although they have a high birth rate also have a high death rate at a young age. The same here with poor minorities.

Just don't let the lizard loose without a raincoat. It isn't rocket science, People are selfish and could care less if their children have a good life, in many areas. Very sad. Florida is a prime example of how overpopulation can be devastating even in a developed country.

Perhaps we could all ignore birth control and population control thus doubling our population, then we can carry each other on our shoulders thus doubling our land mass area .
