HuffPo is national news?

As for the rail project, from what I understand, Mica was more in support of a limited rail project in the Orlando area connecting the airport to disney, not the megaline to Tampa. It would have made a lot more sense to start small like that.

Just because they were bought out recently doesn't automatically make them a mainstream news organization. They aren't on the level of CNN, MSNBC or Fox

AOL hasn't been relevant since the late 1990s

I'm really torn on this guy because on one hand I'm happy that people that voted for this crook are getting what they deserve; however, at the same time those with half a brain that knew he was a piece of garbage in the first place are also having to suffer.

When can we divide the state into North Florida and South Florida? Things would be so much easier and better then for both areas. South Florida can finally keep its tax dollars and North Florida can continue to work on its paleolithic agenda of regression.

I can not for the life of me comprehend this man's mindset in governing. I understand he wants to govern like a "CEO" but he has to understand as a "CEO" he pays everyone else salary. As a Governor, WE pay his salary. He needs to at least listen to the sentiments of the citizens, ALL, the citizens, not just Tea partiers. He keep saying he doesn't care if he's popular or not but he's trying hard as he can to be the King of the Tea Party Prom. As a governor, of course you have to make difficult and unpopular decision, but you also have the responsibility to do the will of the people. How you possibly govern under the falsehood that you're doing what's best for the taxpayer, so in essence what you say is right for the taxpayer. Have we all somehow just forgotten how to think reasonably or is he just somehow so much smarter than the rest of us. Granted I'm no multi millionaire former CEO I am also not a child. I believe I know how I would like my money spent also. But more importantly, I think I know what good for MY state just as much, if not more, than a newcomer. I know Northeasterner are heralded for their academics but c'mon, we know how to run our house in Florida also. We don't need to be treated children and simpletons. I have never had so little faith in an elected official to "represent" his constituency.

Please do not assume that the reason Rick Scott got elected was simply because people voted for him. Rather, it was a lack of voter turnout that favored the fired up Tea Party crowd and was a reaction of the swing to the left the Obama led us into with health care. People were scared and told to vote for these Republicans or else the US would fall into Socialism.

LOL.Rick Scott seems great, he wants to eliminate taxes on businesses progressively through 2016, he'll save Florida's economy !
That would be terrible with his Democratic opponent..Imagine : +66% for income taxes, + 45% for business taxes, as in Illinois !
Thank God it's Rick Scott
