I am considering moving to Cape Coral Florida. Can anyone tell me anything about this area? What about hurricane history, or anything else of interest.

The Cape has its share of problems. It too can get hit with hurricanes.

It's full of stripe malls, hot cement, underpaid wages, and overpriced houses. You have Ft. Myers beach which is nice but don't forget you have to pay everytime you cross the bridge.

Thank you for your advice, I have never lived in Florida but the guy I am seeing has just bought a house there, so I am considering the move because I like him very much. I have not been known for my bravery LOL So don't know how I would deal with a Big One........LeeAnn
