Anyone who drives on I-95, I-75, or the Turnpike knows what I'm talking about. There are green state signs that show there is a Jai-Alai arena at the next exit.

I don't get it, what's so special about Jai-Alai? Is there some kind of lobbying effort to put these signs up? It's a pretty obscure sport that is mostly associated with gambling. I never see government signs for any other sport, including major ones.

They are points of interest. You'll see them for stadiums, malls, and even dog tracks.
