I know it is a bit of a hike for Floridians but it should be worth it. This forum sponsored by Sen. Jim DeMint, is Rick Perry's first scheduled event and Ron Paul supporters are especially encouraged to come and give RP their support. Agreed! It will be a material gold mine for comedians. Nothing like getting a bunch of clowns in a room together to make great material!

Looks like Rick Perry used his states fire emergency as an excuse to duck out of the contender event.
Yeah sure he cares about his state and rightfully so but those fires have been burning for more than a week now and unless he's out on the front lines fighting the fires i'm sure anything positive he could do about it could have been done over the phone, the contenders forum would only have taken half a day out of his schedule.

Maybe he didnt want to be questioned on a few inconsistencies in his affiliation with the tea baggers

Google
Oh you mean like asking for federal funds for assistance that he's so staunchly against? No one ever said the Conservatives weren't hypocrites.
