Neither of these cases has what I originally had asked for as examples ... please cite some cases where a black individual moved into an upper class predominantly white neighborhood and was shot by his neighbors. I'll bet Lebron is quaking in his boots every time he goes home to his upper class mansion and Tiger was so afraid of getting shot in Isleworth, he ran off to a gated compound in Jupiter ...

The thing is no one can tell the difference between black hood people (killers), and the regular black working stiffs. Do the killers wear some kind of sign we can look for? So if there is a white person around the statistics show that they are 5 times less likely to kill you. So people are 5 times more comfortable around white people because they are much less likely to die. No disrespect. It's just how it is...... If black people see whites stiffen up when they are around that sucks. But the facts may be the reason, not racism.

I can tell you right away that there's a HUGE difference between how I look and present myself and how a hood black man looks. If one can't tell the difference between a dope-dealing hoodlum and a man who suits up for work everyday, one must be blind.

As a hispanic person...there should be no special "etiquette" a white person should have to observe in a largely black area. Simply live your life within the laws of the land and dont bother anyone and u should be fine. . . why does there need to be a special "etiquette" to live in a black neighborhood? who cares...

There is no etiquette you will need.

If it's an all black neighborhood, you will find that some neighbors will be very friendly. Probably trying to assure you that you're welcome.

However, check the crime rate. Black neighborhoods for better or worse are notoriously crime ridden. And while most Blacks in these neighborhoods are honest, good people, the bad apples can spoil the barrel for the rest of the apples.

I lived in an all black neighborhood in Detroit, I lived in a mostly Black neighborhood by accident in Houston (moved to some apartments across from my office building), and same in Atlanta.
